Steve Eberhart gets weekend mornings going with energy, fun, and an exciting mix of today’s adult contemporary favorites along with the hits from the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s.

Steve grew up in the small community of Lindsay, Texas and began his radio career while in high school at local station KGAF in nearby Gainesville, Texas.

He developed his broadcasting talents and eventually moved to Dallas where he worked at legendary station KVIL, later KLUV and KDMX, and then as an adventurous daily helicopter traffic reporter for FOX 4 television in Dallas.

His career in broadcasting has brought him all the way to the White House, where he met and interviewed President Bill Clinton in 1993.

“I enjoy the opportunity to relate to the listeners – their thoughts about what is going on in their world, how it affects them, or how they may find humor in it.”

“To some, the radio station is their only source to the outside world,” Steve says, “we try to keep them in touch, keep them up on what’s going on, the latest trends, and entertain them with the music of the day. We are sort of a ‘clearing house’ of information, to which they can help contribute and relate to.”

When Steve is away from the broadcast studio, he enjoys some unique hobbies, including collecting old telephones and genealogy research. Steve’s wife, Susan, is an executive in an advertising firm, which enables him to stay home weekdays and take care of his two young children, Jennifer and Johnny. Says Steve, “It’s the ultimate challenge on a daily basis. My biggest lesson early on was to create a routine and stick to it! This experience also gives me a unique perspective on parenting which I use often in relating to our listeners.”
